It's that time of year again! I've already been going through my son's closet in search of uniforms that can be passed down to little brother and trying to determine what we need to buy. Last year I had a segment air that was all about saving money on uniforms and I thought now would be a good time to post it again for some ideas.

If you have any tips to share, feel free to post them!

{Ways to Save on School Uniforms}

1. Coupons: Yep, coupons do exist for clothes! This means, you have to visit your favorite store websites or even Target.com for apparel coupons from time to time. Even the new app, Target Cartwheel has been great for this! You see the bulk of these in late July and early August.

2. Consignment: This is a GREAT place to score uniforms. Either check out stores near you or find a Just Between Friends sale. You can not only sell your own uniforms but you can buy someone else's too.

3. Swap: Get some friends together and hold your own swap meet! I taught at a school years ago that required us to purchase uniforms, we were always swapping and trading with one another. It's a great way to pass on your child's smaller clothing and score some more on the cheap or free! I recently found out another family at our school was moving, so I quickly asked for that child's uniforms and it worked out perfectly for my son!

Those are some easy tips for saving money on uniforms. How do you save? Be sure to check out our segment below:
