I am thrilled with all of the entries I have been receiving for the Frugal Date Night Challenge! I love the creativity people have. Nice dates do not have to be expensive.
Take, for example, the date night idea from this week's winner of the $50 gift certificate to The Vintage Pearl, Robyn Bitner:
She and her husband like to take advantage of the great programs her community provides. She writes, "When the weather is nice before the summer gets too hot, we love to make a picnic and grab a nice bottle of wine and then take in some music on the lawn in front of our city hall. Every Friday night a concert is given that is open to the public. One weekend will be jazz, the next a string quartet, but the variety makes it interesting and the musicians are always outstanding. There's nothing quite as romantic as enjoying a beautiful night and a concert out on the lawn. The best part is it's totally free!"
So great! Thank you, Robyn!
Keep those Frugal Date Night ideas coming! Thank you to those who have already entered. There will be two more winners chosen on February 28th from the entries already sent in by that date.
