WASHINGTON, D.C. – A new study suggests that leafy vegetables aren't always good for you.

The study, conducted by the Centers for Disease Control, found that greens are also the leading source of food poisoning in the United States.

Meanwhile, when it comes to food-related deaths, health officials most often blame contaminated chicken and other poultry. One-in-six Americans gets sick from salmonella or other food illness each year.
