PORTLAND -- The Rose Garden has been named among the top 10 vegetarian-friendly basketball arenas in the nation, in a list compiled by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

PETA ranked the Portland arena at number six in the nation, due to a wide variety of vegetarian options at its concession stands, including veggie burgers, vegan shakes, veggie sandwiches and stir-fry, and vegan protein powder.

Portland was beat out on the list by the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee and Oakland's Oracle Arena.

The Rose Garden is operated by Ovations Food Services and has more than 35 unique concession stands and kiosks, as well as two restaurants.
