JOKE CAMPAIGN MAY SEND PITBULL TO ALASKA
KODIAK, Alaska (AP) -- More than 35,000 people have given a Facebook "like" to the Wal-Mart in Kodiak, Alaska, which is interesting because only about 6,000 people live there. It's because Wal-Mart agreed to send Pitbull to whatever store got the most "likes." A writer for The Boston Phoenix thought it would be funny to send Pitbull to the most remote Wal-Mart there is and encouraged people to vote for the Kodiak store. A Wal-Mart spokeswoman says voting ends July 16 but so far Kodiak has a significant lead. Pitbull says he'll go wherever fans want to have a party.
