CHRISTINA AGUILERA, STEVIE WONDER PERFORM AT ETTA JAMES SERVICE
GARDENA, Calif. (AP) -- Christina Aguilera says Etta James was her hero because, in her words, "She was the one that cut right to my soul and spoke to me." Aguilera performed at James' memorial service outside Los Angeles Saturday. Aguilera says she's performed James' signature song "At Last" at every concert. Stevie Wonder performed three songs, including "Shelter in the Rain" and a harmonica solo. President Barack Obama said in a statement James will be remembered "for her legendary voice and her contributions to our nation's musical heritage."
