SHERRI SHEPHERD: OUSTED FROM "DANCING WITH THE STARS"
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Gladys Knight will be back next week on "Dancing With the Stars." No one seemed more surprised than her, as host Tom Bergeron announced the results. Knight had been at the bottom of the judges' leader board this week. The shock continued as Sherri Shepherd was booted. She usually scored in the middle of the pack and her elimination seemed to surprise both the judges and her fellow celebrities. A bawling Shepherd said dancing on the show was a dream. She urged viewers confront their fears "because it's so amazing on the other side." Besides Knight, others returning to compete next week include Jaleel White, football star Donald Driver and actress Melissa Gilbert. The dances will have a Latin theme.
