PORTLAND, Ore. -- Cirque du Soleil is returning to its performance roots as the touring company comes back to Portland this spring.
KOOZA will premiere on Thursday, April 8 under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau SW Moody Avenue South of the Marquam bridge.
Cirque du Soleil officials said KOOZA is a return to their origins that combines the two circus traditions of acrobatic performance and the art of clowning.
“KOOZA is about human connection and the world of duality, good and bad," writer and director David Shiner said. “The tone is fun and funny, light and open. The show doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it’s very much about ideas, too".
The show runs Tuesdays thru Thursdays at 8 p.m.,

Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
