PORTLAND, Ore. -- Got talent?

If you think you've got "what it takes" to shine on stage, on reality TV?

NBC's "America's Got Talent" auditions continue in Portland on Monday, March 1 to conduct open auditions for season five of the show.

Thousands of contestant hopefuls started showing up Monday around the convention center, made up in costume and toting instruments.

Jason Raff, Executive Producer, said "keeping Portland weird" was the perfect theme for his vision. Producers said they saw just under 1,000 acts on Sunday.

Portland is the last stop on the show's nationwide tour to find broadcast-worthy talent, according to the show's producers.
