SUMMERVILLE, Ore. – Three wolf pups have been born to the Mt. Emily wolf pack, according to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

A breeding pair of wolves associated with the Mt. Emily wolf pack was first found in April in Union County, near Summerville.

Officials said at least three new pups have been born to the pair thanks but there may be more. Monitoring cameras discovered the pups.

ODFW has confirmed that pups were born in seven known packs this year. Exact numbers are not yet known, officials said.
