Stewie, a 5-year-old Maine coon from Reno, Nev., has broken the Guinness World Record for the world's longest domestic cat. According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, the colossal kitty won the distinction for measuring 48.5 inches (more than 4 feet) from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail bone. The previous record-holder was also a Maine coon that stretched 48 inches. Stewie's owners, Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness, said they decided to go for the record after encountering so many people who marveled at Stewie's size.
