PORTLAND – The 27th annual AIDS Walk Portland was under way downtown as thousands took to the streets to raise money for AIDS research, treatment, and education.
At 10:30 a.m., crowds gathered at Pioneer Courthouse Square and started their walk through downtown.
Traffic was diverted in some areas as close to 10,000 walkers hoped to raise more than $450,000 for the Cascade AIDS Projects.
