LONDON -- For anyone who hates the idea of going gray, a cure may not be far off.

Researchers in Germany and England found that people with gray hair have accumulated hydrogen peroxide in their hair follicles, causing the hair to bleach itself from the inside out.

Scientists are currently in the process of developing a treatment to reverse the problem, turning hair back to its original color.

The study showed the skin condition vitiligo might be treated by the same process.
