PORTLAND – The Rose City was filled with runners, volunteers, and spectators Sunday morning for the 41st running of the Portland Marathon.

The event, which included a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10K family walk, drew tens of thousands of runners, volunteers and spectators to downtown Portland.

More than 9,000 people ran in the full marathon and more than 2,000 joined them to run in the half marathon.

Colleen Little, 29, of Lake Oswego, won the women's race with a time of 2:51:34. Little was on the University of Portland soccer team that won a national title in 2002. She dedicated her victory to legendary coach Clive Charles, who died of cancer.

Jameson Mora, 28, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., was the first male finisher at 2:21:09.
