The number crunchers at zillow.com have created the "trick or treat" housing index -- for those serious little vampires and devils.
After calculating home values, population density and crime rates, Portland is ranked third-best in the country for providing the most candy with the least amount of walking and safety risk.
Zillow used the same calculations to identify the top five Portland neighborhoods for trick-or-treating.
According to the web site, they are:
1. Richmond
2. Northwest heights
3. Sellwood
4. Laurelhurst
5. Eastmoreland
