PORTLAND – On Wednesday, the real estate site Zillow ranked Portland the 9th best city in the country for Trick-or-Treating.
Zillow has created the list for Halloween candy hunting for the last five years. Rose City slipped a ranking in 2013, down one from last year's 8th place.
The site uses crime stats, population density and a community's "WalkScore" to create a list of cities that, according to the site, “will provide the most candy, with the fewest walking and safety risks."
San Francisco topped the list with Boston and Honolulu coming in second and third. Seattle came in 5th.
The top five neighborhoods in Portland for tricks and treats were: Alameda, Irvington, Laurelhurst, Sunnyside and Mount Tabor.
