PORTLAND – Spring is here and Easter is Sunday. Here's a guide to some of the things you and your kids can do to celebrate around Portland. In addition to the events below, many of Portland's neighborhood associations are sponsoring Easter egg hunts.
Kruger's Farm on Sauvie Island hosts a free spring celebration from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday, with an all ages egg hunt at 1.
The Oregon Zoo welcomes kids to the Rabbit Romp Saturday morning, which includes egg hunts every 20 minutes for children 10 and under. There's also a special hunt for kids under two.
The Portland Children’s Museum will host a spring celebration Sunday where kids can plant flowers or make their own out of felt. And Greasy Kids Stuff will have a dance party.
The Oregon Humane Society gets a visit from the Easter Bunny Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., while kids and parents learn how to care for real bunnies.
Cedar Hills Recreation Center hosts an Easter celebration Saturday, with a pancake breakfast, an egg hunt and an artisan bazaar.
