PORTLAND -- Travel + Leisure magazine readers ranked Portland International Airport the best in the nation, the magazine announced Tuesday.
Readers rated 68 domestic airports using criteria such as business or family-friendly travel, food and drink, location and on-time departures. PDX came in first, scoring big in the "business and family-friendly" categories and winning points for food options like Stanford's restaurant.
Travel + Leisure also said the airport is "likely to keep you on schedule— it has an 87.5 percent on-time departure record, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics."
Other airports that topped the list included Austin–Bergstrom International Airport and Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport.
