HILLSBORO, Ore. -- The 24th Annual Oregon International Air Show is under way this weekend in Hillsboro.
This year the air show welcomes the Patriots 6-Jet Team, the U.S. Army Black Dagger Parachute Team, military demos featuring F-15, F-16 and F-18 planes and much more.
Friday night the gates opened at 6 p.m. and as the sun set, visitors enjoyed the largest fireworks and pyrotechnics display in Oregon.
Gates open Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. and close at approximately 4 p.m.
General admission tickets are $20. Admission for seniors and kids 6 to 12 is $15 and kids 5 and under get in free.
This is the 24th year for the airshow in Oregon and organizers hope to raise more than $1 million for charity.
