It's a big day for team USA in the World Cup. They face off against Germany at 9 a.m. PST Thursday morning. Unfortunately, the timing is terrible for anyone who has work at 9 then. But the team's coach has a way for you to get out of work to watch it.

USA Coach Jurgen Klinsmann wrote a handwritten excuse note that you can have your boss sign off on - if your boss approves.

The team tweeted out the note Wednesday from their official Twitter account.

The note got New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on board - he tweeted out his own note approving an extended lunch hour for all New York State employees, starting at game time.

But we can't guarantee your boss will be as cool... One fan already showed his boss did not sign off on a day off.
