MCMINNVILLE -- The Evergreen Wings & Waves water park, with slides that begin on a Boeing 747 parked on the roof, opened for business Monday.
The park has 10 slide that total 2,000 feet of sliding and a wave pool that holds 91,000 gallons of water. There is a toddler area with bubblers, fountains and two slides and a play structure with a 300 gallon splash bucket and helicopter.

The park, which is adjacent to the air museum and its Spruce Goose, also has video game area, museum, concessions and private party rooms.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
Admission to Evergreen Wings & Waves is $25 for anyone 42 inches or shorter and $30 for those over 42 inches. There is a H2O Museum only admission for $10.
