Cycle Oregon is once again set to roll for a week-long, two-wheeled tour of the state.
This year's route features Eastern Oregon, a brief detour into Eastern Washington, and includes a visit to the centennial edition of the Pendleton Roundup.
The ride starts Sunday September 12 in Elgin. More than 2,000 riders will cover up to 450 miles over the course of the week-long tour. Proceeds from Cycle Oregon are used to fund worthy development projects across the states, and the typically small towns visited during the tour also get an economic boost from the swarm of visiting cyclists.
KGW.com will have daily ride reports and photo galleries as CO 2010 rambles across Eastern Oregon.
