For the second year in a row, 29-year-old Jameson Mora of Arroyo Grande, Calif. took first place in the men's division, finishing in 2:20:53. This is the first time a runner has achieved back-to-back wins in the Portland Marathon.
Rachel Jaten, 38, of Spokane, Wash. took first place in the women's division.
On Sunday, Oregon Sports Authority CEO Drew Mahalic spoke called this year's marathon the best yet.

The marathon was dedicated to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing earlier this year. Marathon superstar "Boston Billy" Rodgers said a few words and the crowd observed a moment of silence before the race began.
Runners crossed TriMet light-rail tracks and bus routes during the race. The agency says 15 bus lines will be detoured during the event, and sporadic delays can be expected as drivers stop for runners.
