Holiday tree lit in Pioneer Courthouse Square

Annual tree lighting at Pioneer Courthouse Square

PORTLAND, Ore. – The holidays are here! The tree at Pioneer Courthouse Square was lit Friday night.

This is the 32nd year the holiday tree was illuminated in Portland’s living room. This year’s 75-foot tall tree was donated by Stimson Lumber Company.

Thomas Lauderdale and members of Pink Martini lead the holiday sing-along, with help from the NW Community Gospel Choir and Pacific Youth Choir.

The holiday tree was illuminated by more than 14,000 lights. You can watch the Facebook Live video of the tree lighting here

Earlier on Friday, the annual MyMacy’s holiday parade wound through downtown Portland.
