BORING -- A wrong-way driver in a Toyota Prius died late Friday afternoon after colliding head-on into a pickup truck with four people.

Anthony Petereit, 53, of Boring, may have been going through a diabetic seizure, according to Oregon State Police.

He somehow ended up driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. and struck a pickup driven by Terry Bradbury, 43, of Vancouver. He was seriously injured and taken to Legacy Emanuel hospital.Petereit was pronounced dead at the scene.

Right front passenger Charles Bradbury was seriously injured and take to Emanuel by ambulance. Right rear passenger Ashlee Bradbury was critically injured and flown there. Left rear passenger Nicole Misener, 17, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Emanuel.

Eastbound lanes were closed for about an hour after the 5.35 p.m. crash.
