MILL CREEK, Wash. – A Mill Creek man who claimed a $250,000 Mega Millions prize Thursday said it was the first time in his life that he’s had a buffer of money in his bank.
Cecil Brooks told lotto officials he planned to pay off all of his debts.
All three jackpots for Powerball, Lotto and Hit 5 were not hit during Wednesday night’s drawing and have now rolled to $310 million, $5.6 million and $640,000 respectively.
The Powerball jackpot is the highest jackpot since the game’s 2010 debut in Washington.
