PORTLAND - Mayor Sam Adams on Tuesday unveiled a new plan designed to bolster business on the city's eastside.
Six mini urban renewal districts were named, including Northeast 42nd, Northeast Cully, Parkrose, SE Division at 82nd, SE Division at 124th and Rosewood.

The city will borrow against future tax revenues to pay for training and technical help to foster neighborhood businesses growth.
A portion of property taxes collected in those districts will be used to offset the project, city leaders said.
