WILSONVILLE -- An anonymous donor came forward to help a Portland State University graduate student who had nine of her wildlife cameras stolen a few weeks ago.
Leslie Bliss-Ketchum said they were more than just cameras - they were the heart of her masters degree thesis.
"It's been three years I've been doing research down here, " she said.
Her cameras snapped pictures of deer, fox, ducks, and bunnies in their natural habitat at the Coffee Creek Wetlands in Wilsonville.
"I was upset," she said, "It's been three years of research. I need this to get my masters and I don't have that yet."

PSU didn't have the money to buy replacements because the insurance deductible was too high to realistically file a claim within the department's budget. But Monday Bliss-Ketchum said an anonymous donor had come forward and agreed to pay the deductible, so she'll be getting new cameras after all.
She described the donation as "really awesome and totally touching."
