BEAVERTON -- Tactical police surrounded an apartment complex on Southwest 107th between Canyon Road and Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway for several hours Tuesday morning.
A suspect from an earlier encounter with police was thought to be inside an apartment unit, said Sgt. David Thompson. Dispatchers were told that there were weapons in the apartment.
Four people in the apartment walked out about 6 a.m. About 45 minutes later, the suspect was taken into custody.
SW 107th was closed between the two highways, which remained open to commuter traffic.
