PORTLAND – The congregation of a fire-damaged church in Southeast Portland started rising from the ashes last weekend.
The Eastside Foursquare Church held its first Sunday service since the massive fire that gutted the building.
The senior pastor said it was a blessing in disguise.
Insurance has helped, but around $100,000 in damage was not covered. An account was set up with U.S. Bank for donations.
