Portland, OR - Fitness guru Joe Loprinzi passed away.  Loprinzi was a well known weight lifter and personal trainer.

He hosted an exercise show on KGW for nearly two decades.  He was also a fixture at the Multnomah Athletic Club.  After working there for 60 years the club named a wing and restaurant after him and established a scholarship in his name.

Friends of Loprinzi's say he was a class act.  "He was the kind of guy everybody wanted to be," said Bob Hill.  "I've always thought Loprinzi means the prince and that's exactly what they were, classy people."

Joe Loprinzi died at his home.  He was 95 years old.
