PORTLAND, Ore. -- Bring the young ones out to the Oregon Zoo on Saturday for six hours of Easter egg hunting.
The zoo is hosting a Rabbit Romp, which it bills as a “celebration of spring for all ages.”
Candy egg hunts will be held every 20 minutes for kids aged 2 to 10, the zoo said. Children were encouraged to bring an Easter basket along.
Experts would be available to speak about the zoo’s conservation efforts to protect endangered pygmy rabbits of the Pacific Northwest.
The Rabbit Romp was to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and was free with zoo admission.
