Today was a difficult day for Ulysses and Alexis, they got up at 5:00 AM so that they could catch a ride with Jose to their cousins house. Normally I would have driven them but we decided to just make it one trip. I rode the max and after work I went to buy groceries so that I would not have make 2 different trips. Planning a head of time was hard to get used to but the whole family has made a effort to make this work.

Today was another good day. I took the max to and from work. At lunch time a co-worker and I walked to the restaurant rather than driving. I carpooled to the gym with a friend. It is hard because I am so used to having my car but for the most part it has been fine.
My kids have been using Tri-met to get to the mall and to go swimming. For them it has been great because they feel more comfortable getting around.

Today my and my husband car pooled and we actually got to spend quality time together. On the way home we stopped to get fresh strawberrys and even got some groceries. We made one trip that could have easily been 3 different trips. I never realized how many people I see driving alone and I wonder if they too could be carpooling.

Today was another good day. I really feel like taking the max will be a regular thing. Me and Jose have decided to car pool 2 days out of the week!

Today was the first day of the challenge and it has been en eye opening experience.
My husband has cut down his commute by 10 miles and well I have now learned that by planning my day ahead of time I can cut down on the miles but not only that I felt less stressed on the max because I did not have to deal with the traffic. We will see how tomorrow goes.
