Spring into Recycling

Doing a little spring cleaning? Instead of throwing things out, try recycling them instead.
Newschannel-8 is a sponsor of the recycling area at the "Better Living Show" going on at the Portland Expo Center Friday through Sunday.
You can recycle old electronics and cell phones, and there's a donation center for used household furnishings.
Plus, Saturday is "Shred Day" at the show. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Cintas Document Management will be on site to safely dispose of your sensitive documents.
The Energy Trust Better Living Show is the Northwest’s largest sustainable lifestyle show. It aims to offer solutions to help you lead a more sustainable life.
Admission is free. The show runs from noon to 9 PM on Friday, from 11 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, and from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.
