LEBRON'S MOM: PLEA DEAL

MIAMI (AP) -- A battery charge against the mother of Miami Heat star LeBron James has been dropped, now that she's accepted a plea deal. Gloria James was arrested last April after a valet claimed she hit him because it took him too long to get her car at Miami Beach's Fontainebleau Hotel. Under the plea deal, she will donate $1,000 to a Haitian earthquake relief fund and perform 20 hours of community service.
