TAYLOR SWIFT ASKS NJ TEEN TO ACMS

SOMERDALE, N.J. (AP) -- Taylor Swift has a date for the Academy of Country Music Awards. She's taking 18-year-old fan Kevin McGuire who has leukemia. McGuire's sister had started a campaign on Facebook to get Swift to go with him to his prom. Swift replied in a Facebook post of her own that she couldn't make it to the prom, but asked if McGuire would go with her to the ACM Awards. A post on the original Facebook page said he accepted. The ACMs take place April 1st in Las Vegas. Swift is nominated for three awards.
