SIMON COWELL SUGGESTS HE AND PAULA ABDUL WILL WORK AGAIN SOME DAY

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- It might not be the last we see of Paula Abdul working with Simon Cowell. Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones got the boot from "The X Factor." But Cowell says he expects to be working with Abdul "on another project in the near future." He calls her a "very close friend." Abdul says she understands that business decisions can "override personal considerations." She says Cowell "will remain a dear friend."
