CHICAGO (AP) -- "Weird Al" Yankovic isn't giving up on making movies, but he says if he does make one, it won't be a sequel to his 1989 film "UHF." Yankovic says, "Generally you don't do sequels to movies that bombed." He recalls even before the film came out, a reporter told him it would make a great midnight cult movie, and he was offended the reporter didn't think it would be a hit. Yankovic came close to directing a film last year for the Cartoon Network and had gotten as far as the fourth rewrite on the script. Then, he says, Cartoon Network called and said they weren't going to do films like that after all.
