BLAKE SHELTON - CAN'T BELIEVE HIS CAREER UPSWING
PASADENA, Calif. (AP) -- Last summer, Blake Shelton was opening shows for Brad Paisley. Now, he's in the first week of his own arena tour. Yeah, Shelton can't believe it either. He looks back to "Honey Bee," which he says "for whatever reason," was one of his biggest radio hits. He says "everything just kind of turned into this storm" that pushed him to "a different level." He says in the years before that "it looked pretty bleak a few times" and he had feared his career was done-for. Now he's on country's A-list. But he says he never saw that coming. Shelton's arena tour began Saturday. It ends mid-March in Las Vegas.
