MADONNA WINS GOLDEN GLOBE FOR BEST ORIGINAL SONG

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Madonna has picked up the Golden Globe for best original song. She won for co-writing "Masterpiece" for her film "W.E." She thanked her manager for being "irritating," because he kept bugging her to write the song when she was worried about directing the film. Trent Reznor was up for best original score for co-writing "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" but he lost to "The Artist." Later in the show, Madonna was a presenter. Host Ricky Gervais made a crack about her hit "Just Like a Virgin," which he said with a loud cough. Madonna fired back, "If I'm still a virgin, Ricky, why don't you come over here and do something about it."
