KID ROCK APOLOGIZES FOR SMOKING AT TRAVIS TRITT'S SHOW

WARREN, Mich. (AP) -- Kid Rock is apologizing after a man complained that the Kid smoked a cigar at a nonsmoking venue in the Detroit area. The man says Kid Rock lit the cigar during Travis Tritt's show Friday at Andiamo Celebrity Showroom in Warren. Kid Rock's spokesman tells The Detroit News he offered his "most sincere apologies" to people at the show he may have offended. The spokesman says Kid Rock had been drinking alcohol. Despite the apology, the man who complained says he has asthma and plans to file a health department complaint. Michigan law prohibits smoking at workplaces including bars and restaurants.
