O.J. SIMPSON: MAY LOSE HIS HOME

MIAMI (AP) -- He has a place to stay for now -- a Nevada prison, where he's serving a 9-to-33-year sentence. But O.J. Simpson soon may not have a place to live. Like tens of thousands of other homeowners the jailed former football star may lose his house to foreclosure. Records at Miami-Dade Circuit Court in Florida show JPMorgan Chase filed for foreclosure in September on the four-bedroom, four-bath house south of downtown Miami. Simpson's attorney has since filed a motion to dismiss. But the matter has been inactive since November. Simpson bought the 4,233-square-foot house in 2000 for $575,000. Its current assessed value is now less than that.
