ELTON JOHN PLANS BOOK ABOUT AIDS

LONDON (AP) -- Elton John will write a book exploring why more is not being done to cure AIDS. John will write "Love Is The Cure: Ending the Global AIDS Epidemic" for publication in July. It will include his memories of friends like Freddie Mercury who died of AIDS-related illnesses. It's John's first book. He will also read the audio version. Proceeds will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
