PASADENA, Calif. (AP) -- Though at least one of the producers of "Two and a Half Men," Chuck Lorre, thought the show might be over without Charlie Sheen, another says it was getting difficult to write for. Lee Aronsohn says "you can only go so long with the same tone and the same conflicts and the same through-lines." So he says this "kinder, gentler" version of "Two and a Half Men" with Ashton Kutcher gives them "a lot of new colors to explore." Aronsohn says there are "a lot of people out there who find it a breath of fresh air" which is how he and Chuck Lorre feel while writing it.
