WASHINGTON (AP) -- "American Idol" judges always tell contestants to make the songs their own. That's what Lynda Carter does in her shows. Carter takes a song like Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and sings it more sultry and bluesy. Her arrangement of "Desperado" is more ethereal with a country twang. Carter is taking her act on the road, appearing in Los Angeles for three nights starting April 19.
