PORTLAND – Amazon has ranked Vancouver, Washington the state’s most romantic city.
The newest rank is based on sales of romance novels and relationship books, romantic comedy movies, music and “sexual wellness products.”
Meanwhile, a restaurant-ranking website named Portland the No. 25 “most romantic” city in America, based on its restaurant scene.
Open Table voted San Antonio and Austin, Texas, No. 1 and 2, respectively.
The rankings were calculated using percentage of restaurants rated “romantic,” tables seated for two and the percentage of people who dined out for Valentine’s Day last year.
