PORTLAND -- The Holiday Ale Festival kicked off Wednesday, offering dozens of winter ales for winter revelers in Portland's Living Room.
The festival is held under a clear-top tent at Pioneer Courthouse Square, where attendees can stay warm and dry while enjoying the festive lights of Portland's Christmas tree and cityscape.
"More than 50 potent winter ales are featured at this year's event, all of which are created specifically to bring warmth and cheer to the holiday season," organizers announced. "These aren't beers you'll find in the supermarket--our brewers have put together special recipes just for the Holiday Ale Festival."
General admission tickets are $30 each and include a festival mug and 12 beer tickets. VIP passes were available for $65. Minors are not allowed to attend.
The Holiday Ale Festival runs through Sunday.
