PORTLAND – Producers for the NBC hit series “Grimm” were casting extras and featured background actors for the show’s third season.
A casting call was held on Sunday July 21, between noon and 6 p.m., at the Lloyd Center Doubletree hotel’s Willamette Room. The people chosen to work as extras on the show were expected to start getting calls on Monday with the exciting news.
Extras earn minimum wage and are guaranteed at least 8 hours of pay plus overtime. Featured extras make $150.
The company in charge of casting said it is looking for hundreds of people of all types and looks. Extras must be 18 and older.
“Grimm” is shot in the Portland area and follows homicide detective Nick Burkhardt as he works to keep the balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.
Fans of the show will recognize iconic Portland landmarks along with a diverse background of extras who represent the Rose City on the national stage.
