PORTLAND -- Hipsters and Portland's rainy weather took jabs Tuesday evening as Conan O'Brien had "Portlandia" stars Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen on his talk show.
The two pitched their "Portlandia Activity Book" which includes conversation starters and stoppers, and how to crowdfund your baby.
O'Brien suggested the book would help Portlanders through their 364 days of rain a year.
A suggested hipster conversation starter, as read by Brownstein - "This might sound too forward, but could you foster these disabled cats?"
And a stopper, read by O'Brien. "I actually don't know who the Ramones are."
Armisen also put a bird on the moon of Conan's set. The pair explained their comedy roots in Portland and the backstory of put on a bird on it.
