A controversial new smartphone app is getting a lot of attention for the question its asking, and answering.
It’s called "the ugly meter" and it is currently number one in Apple's App store, even ahead of Angry Birds.
You take your picture with your camera phone and the app claims to check facial symmetry and contours.
It gives you an "ugly" score and a corresponding comment. The maker says this "measuring stick" is intended for fun.
The app has been around for months but recently shot up the charts after a mention on Howard Stern.
